Venice is my eternal muse, a city that wraps me in its mysteries and delights me with its daily revelations. Seeing a new artistic venture born here fills me with immense joy. I want my art to transcend me, to continue breathing and pulsating long after I’m gone.” – Gianmaria Potenza.

We are excited to announce the inauguration of the Potenza Tamini Foundation (FPT), a new Venetian venture, honouring the artistry of Gianmaria Potenza and preserving his wealth of knowledge and techniques. It stands as a testament to the enduring legacy of Venetian artistic tradition.

Established with the support and dedication of collector Josie Mackwitz Tamini, the Foundation has found its home in Gianmaria Potenza’s storied atelier, situated at 1450 Dorsoduro. Here, amidst the timeless charm of Venetian culture, Potenza continues to create awe-inspiring masterpieces, seamlessly intertwining tradition with modernity with his uniquely Venetian narrative.

But the Foundation isn’t just about preserving the past; it’s about nurturing the future. Under the artistic direction of Valeria Loddo, the Foundation envisions a platform for emerging talents to flourish, a space where the echoes of tradition harmonize with the rhythms of modernity.

And as we eagerly await the unveiling of the Foundation’s new website – a digital treasure trove of insights, events, and archival gems – one thing is certain: the legacy of Gianmaria Potenza will continue to cast its spell, weaving dreams and inspiring imaginations for years to come.
