Potenza’s works at the Belmond Hotel Cipriani in Venice

Since August 31, 2016, some of Gianmaria Potenza’s most celebrated bronzes and marbles have been exposed in the magnificent rooms of Belmond Hotel Cipriani in Venice, Giudecca. The collaboration between the Master and the prestigious Hotel is thus renewed for the second consecutive year dedicated to art and beauty.  Twenty-four master’s sculptures are housed in the historic hotel, including the artist’s well-known owls -his peculiar subjects – along with bigger works such as the marble skyscrapers and the feathers.

Certainly an unmissable exhibition for the most passionate collectors and a unique opportunity to observe closely the Gianmaria Potenza’s works, in an environment of refined beauty. As you were sitting in the living room of a Venetian palace, the master’s sculptures speak to the visitors in the language in which are carved, with that primitive trait which tells the history of the artist and his city, Venice, at the boundaries of time and space to the limit of a fairy tale. As always, when you are in front of one of his masterpieces. The exhibition, which will end on October 31, 2016, is part of the rich program of exhibitions and events wanted this year by the master to celebrate his eightieth birthday.
