Poly-combustion

Poly-combustion is a particular technique applied by Gianmaria Potenza. It consists in polystyrene plates of different shape and thickness, burned, assembled and painted according to a particular design or reference. Potenza takes inspiration from the lagoon sunsets and the Byzantine mosaics. So even the colors, from blue to gold, interpret lights and reflections of the Venetian canals.
